Quick Lube Technician

Responsibilities

• Check systems and components for security and functionality.
• Isolate potential causes of problems and conduct tests as necessary.
• Drive vehicles for testing and ensure proper fluid levels are maintained.
• Inspect and adjust tire pressure, clean fittings, and lubricate as needed.
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters, and report oil levels to team members.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns or damage.
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of automobiles and strong diagnostic skills.
• Effective analytical and communication abilities, with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
• A High School Diploma or GED (required).
• ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred).
• At least one year of experience in a service department.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
