QUICK LANE / EXPRESS OIL & FILTER SERVICE TECHNICIANS - UP TO $20.00 PER HOUR

About the role

This position supports the Mills Automotive Group's growth by adding Quick Lane / Express Service Technicians to their team at FORD OF HARVEY. Starting wages are $15.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $22.50 per hour through incentives.

Responsibilities

- Conduct basic maintenance and filter services on Ford vehicles - Perform oil and filter services - Carry out tire rotations, balancing, replacements, and repairs - Test and replace batteries - Conduct multi-point inspections and use test tools to inspect vehicles - Document completed work and service needs via repair orders and dealer computer systems - Attend and complete manufacturer training as required

Requirements

Ideal candidates must have a basic automotive background and appropriate tools for light vehicle service. Previous experience as a Quick Lane or express service technician at an independent or dealer is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively, and have a trainable mindset. The position is entry-level, and training will be provided to the right candidates regardless of prior experience.

Skills

Outgoing and friendly personality, professional appearance, and technical certification and training are beneficial but not mandatory.
