Quick Lane Automotive Service Lube Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels and top off as needed (oil, coolant, brake, transmission, washer fluid)
  • Rotate and balance tires as required
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
  • Replace basic wear items such as air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
  • Identify and communicate additional maintenance needs to service advisors
  • Follow all dealership and manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Use shop equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Deliver timely service while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • A strong attention to detail and time management skills are necessary
  • A basic mechanical knowledge or automotive experience is preferred
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is required
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic are valued
  • Prior lube technician or automotive service experience is preferred
  • A basic understanding of vehicle maintenance systems is helpful
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are important
  • A willingness to learn and advance in automotive service is appreciated
