Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and top off as needed (oil, coolant, brake, transmission, washer fluid)
- Rotate and balance tires as required
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
- Replace basic wear items such as air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
- Identify and communicate additional maintenance needs to service advisors
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Use shop equipment and tools properly and safely
- Deliver timely service while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential
- A strong attention to detail and time management skills are necessary
- A basic mechanical knowledge or automotive experience is preferred
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is required
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are valued
- Prior lube technician or automotive service experience is preferred
- A basic understanding of vehicle maintenance systems is helpful
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are important
- A willingness to learn and advance in automotive service is appreciated
