About the role
The General Service Technician performs basic non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections.
Responsibilities
- Operating company vehicles to transport customers and parts
- Maintaining shop cleanliness
- Adhering to safety procedures
- Conducting State Safety and Emission Inspections ethically
- Reporting any vehicle concerns
- Mounting/dismounting tires, balancing, rotation
- Performing oil changes
- Observing vehicle conditions and documenting inspections
- Ensuring shop cleanliness
- Safely transporting customers and parts
- Following safety protocols
- Conducting state inspections and reporting safety concerns
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic understanding of vehicle components
- Ability to work at least five days a week, including weekends
- Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying environmental conditions
Pay
Up to $25/hr plus commissions
