About the role

We are currently hiring a Cook for a quick-hire opportunity based in Long Island City, NY.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Follow recipes and build sheets precisely.
• Properly put labels on Grab & Go containers.

Requirements

• Must have their own uniforms, thermometers, and cut gloves.
• Must be able to work inside a walk-in; bring proper warm attire to be worn under chef uniforms.
