The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
• Assist in menu planning, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service during peak hours
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in a food service or culinary role within a restaurant or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning
• Familiarity with food handling standards and safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet dietary needs
