About the role
Carewann is hiring an RN for a meaningful care management and clinical supervision role in Maryland home care. This is not a bedside nursing role. You’ll work alongside the nurse-owner — a fellow RN who deeply values clinical judgment and experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments in the home
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Supervise caregivers in the field and ensure adherence to care plans
- Conduct scheduled nurse visits and document clinical findings
- Oversee medication management and provide medication-related guidance
- Communicate with clients, family members, and attending physicians
- Ensure compliance with Maryland state home care regulations
- Serve as a clinical resource and support for the Carewann care team
- Work alongside the nurse-owner to maintain quality standards across all client cases
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (home care, geriatrics, or medical-surgical preferred)
- Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Negative TB test or Chest X-ray clearance
- Pre-employment health physical exam
- Professional references
