About the role

Carewann is hiring an RN for a meaningful care management and clinical supervision role in Maryland home care. This is not a bedside nursing role. You’ll work alongside the nurse-owner — a fellow RN who deeply values clinical judgment and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments in the home
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Supervise caregivers in the field and ensure adherence to care plans
• Conduct scheduled nurse visits and document clinical findings
• Oversee medication management and provide medication-related guidance
• Communicate with clients, family members, and attending physicians
• Ensure compliance with Maryland state home care regulations
• Serve as a clinical resource and support for the Carewann care team
• Work alongside the nurse-owner to maintain quality standards across all client cases

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience (home care, geriatrics, or medical-surgical preferred)
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Negative TB test or Chest X-ray clearance
• Pre-employment health physical exam
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
