Responsibilities
- Inspect operating equipment, complete inspection sheets, and report issues to the Quarry Supervisor.
- Maintain regular communication with the Quarry Supervisor to identify, anticipate, and mitigate potential quarry issues.
- Operate mobile equipment safely in accordance with site procedures.
- Document material addition counts.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1-year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating equipment (e.g., loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, excavators).
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
About the Role
As a Quarry Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will operate, inspect, and maintain quarry equipment and identify, address, and report any equipment issues to the Quarry Supervisor.
