About the Role

This role will work closely with Quantum Integration Engineers, process engineers, equipment engineers, and manufacturing personnel. The technician helps enable efficient execution of development lots, supporting multiple quantum modalities including spin qubit, superconducting, trapped ion, photonic, and topological technologies. The position is ideal for a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced development environment and supporting leading-edge semiconductor and quantum manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Development Lot Execution
    • Support daily execution of quantum development lots.
    • Track wafer movement and lot status through manufacturing.
    • Coordinate experiment logistics with engineering teams.
    • Ensure materials and documentation are available prior to lot starts.
    • Escalate execution issues that may impact development schedules.
  • Laboratory and Fab Support
    • Prepare samples for characterization and analysis.
    • Support tool qualification and development activities.
    • Assist engineers with data collection and documentation.
    • Maintain laboratory organization and material inventories.
    • Support special handling requirements for quantum materials and processes.
  • Data and Documentation
    • Maintain experiment tracking logs and execution records.
    • Update project dashboards and status trackers.
    • Collect metrology and process data for engineering review.
    • Ensure development documentation is complete and accurate.
    • Support generation of technical reports and presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Interface with Fab Operations, Equipment Engineering, Metrology, and Process Engineering teams.
    • Participate in daily execution meetings and action item reviews.
    • Support customer demonstrations and internal technology reviews.
    • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on execution efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Follow all environmental, health, safety, and contamination control requirements.
    • Support audits, equipment certifications, and development readiness activities.
    • Ensure proper handling of specialty materials and development hardware.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, development, laboratory, or technical operations experience.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work across multiple organizations and priorities.

Pay

Expected salary range: $69,000.00 – $120,000.00. The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
