Quantum Curriculum & Communications Lead

About the role

We are seeking a creative quantum expert and science communicator to develop cutting-edge learning experiences while growing a global community around quantum technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop new curricula and online courses in Quantum Computing, Networking, Sensing, Cryptography, Semiconductors, AI, and other emerging technologies.
• Create engaging educational content, including lesson plans, labs, assessments, blogs, short-form videos, technical explainers.
• Design and launch project-based learning experiences, workshops, executive education, and student training programs.
• Build social media content and increase engagement.
• Support topic, quizzes and delivery of WISER Summer Program.
• Support summer and winter challenges - enrolling cohorts, inviting corporate partners.
• Support building, delivery, and marketing of ElevateYourQuantum, a central hub of quantum education resources.
• Engage students on Discord, collaborate with quantum student hackathon groups.
• Collaborate with researchers, industry experts, and educators to ensure technical accuracy and real-world relevance.
• Represent WISER at conferences, workshops, and ecosystem events while building partnerships with universities, laboratories, and industry.
• Support program delivery, measure learner outcomes, and continuously improve educational offerings.

Requirements

Strong background in quantum technologies.

Excellent technical writing and science communication skills.

Experience creating educational content, curricula, or online learning materials.

Comfortable speaking to technical and non-technical audiences and representing the organization at events.

Passion for making complex technologies accessible and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
