About the role

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer for a full‑time, remote position supporting a Federal Government client. The role requires a Public Trust – Level 4 security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java for implementing and testing cryptographic algorithms
• Work with and advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) implementation strategies
• Assess organizational cryptographical inventory and identify migration priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership
• Provide policy and guidance inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards (FIPS 203, 204, and
