Quantitative Trader - 2027 Graduates
About the role
The ETF trading group at GTS is seeking applications to join our Quantitative Trader program for the May 2027 Graduates. The ultimate goal of the program is to turn you into a trader capable of designing, building and managing profitable trading strategies as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidates will work closely with senior traders on projects across the quantitative trading space. They will see their work directly impact the group’s activities and drive revenue. The role will offer deep insight into how the trading desk operates and how our traders evaluate trading opportunities. There is opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in trading decisions very quickly.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. from a leading university in a quantitative discipline such as math, physics, statistics, computer science, or engineering with a GPA over 3.6/4.0.
- Graduating May 2027.
- Both graduates and candidates with experience may apply.
- Deep understanding and ability in mathematics and statistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic and competitive games.
The use of AI tools during interviews is strictly prohibited, unless explicitly agreed upon.
Pay
In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $225,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
