About the Opportunity

The Quantitative Research & Evaluation Manager leads complex research and program evaluation initiatives from planning through delivery. This role oversees mixed-methods research projects, manages client relationships, supervises research teams, and transforms complex quantitative findings into actionable insights that support public policy, organizational strategy, and program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end evaluation and research projects from planning through final delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on research design, sampling methodologies, and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure quality control across data collection, statistical analysis, and final reporting.
• Conduct and oversee quantitative data analysis using advanced statistical methods.
• Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, IRB requirements, data security standards, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain complete project documentation, methodologies, and research records.
• Identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency and data quality.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop research analysts and project staff.
• Perform additional research, analytical, and project management duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, Program Evaluation, or a related field. Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in scientific research, statistical analysis, or program evaluation.
• At least 2 years of formal project management experience leading complex research initiatives.
• Proficiency with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, NVivo, or ATLAS.ti.
• Experience cleaning, managing, and analyzing large datasets using advanced statistical methods.
• Experience managing client relationships, federal stakeholders, and external research partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to executive audiences.

Pay Range

Annual base salary: $102,413 – $117,774 USD. Compensation is based on experience, education, technical expertise, and federal research background.
