Quannacut Outpatient Clinical Supervisor-Mental Health-OMH-Full Time

About the Role

The Clinical Supervisor assists the Director of Quannacut Outpatient Services, in providing high quality services by supervising clinical staff and coordinating the delivery of services. This position demonstrates a full understanding of the Quannacut and SBELIH Mission and promotes the use of sound therapeutic techniques. The Clinical Supervisor provides assessment and treatment services in addition to outreach and educational services. The Clinical Supervisor will assist the director in maintaining treatment in conjunction with NYS OMH, NYS OASAS, Joint Commission and DOH regulations and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical staff in their direct service to clients.
• Completes annual assessments on supervised staff and documents staff competencies.
• Participate in program development activities.
• Makes recommendations for performance improvement activities and assessing program effectiveness.
• Coordinates services with referral sources.
• Provides consultation services and in-service trainings to community groups, organizations and agencies.
• Provides in-service trainings to clinical staff.
• Represents Quannacut Outpatient Services at conferences, meetings and trainings as assigned.
• Reviews case records for adherence to NYS OMH, DOH, and The Joint Commission guidelines and regulations.
• Provides leadership in the absence of the Director of Outpatient Services.
• Provides individual, and/or group therapy as needed.
• Demonstrates high level knowledge of mental health diagnoses, DSM-5-TR, and their effects on human behavior.
• Displays expert level knowledge on
