Quality & Test Automation Lead

We are seeking a Quality & Test Automation Lead to manage and direct quality‑assurance resources focused on both automated and manual testing. This hybrid role (minimum three days in the office) involves developing and owning the test strategy for product releases, ensuring continued and improved quality, and participating actively in development and iterative release cycles as part of our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented group of quality‑assurance resources focused on automated and manual testing activities.
• Own the test strategy and execute it for product releases.
• Direct the development of test automation for cloud‑ or on‑premise‑deployed versions of projects.
• Perform manual testing as needed for projects.
• Lead technical validation strategies and infrastructure design to enable testing.
• Provide feedback on key user scenarios, technical designs, and specifications.
• Define and report on key scenario measures, performance, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Prior people‑management experience, preferably in a technical environment.
• Ability to collaborate on designing and implementing testing solutions that ensure quality for product features.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and a passion for technology.
• Robust working knowledge of modern quality methodologies and techniques.
• Minimum 2 years experience creating test automation for graphically rich, user‑optimized web interfaces targeting PC browsers.
• Minimum 1 year experience testing responsive web UI applications across multiple devices (tablet, phone, or PC).
• Minimum 1 year experience testing web services (SOAP or RESTful) using SoapUI or JUnit.
• Minimum 2 years experience with scripting languages for automation (JavaScript, PowerShell, Windows BAT/CMD, or Bash).
• Experience using source‑code management tools across multiple projects.
• Experience participating in Agile or other contemporary software development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience testing native Android mobile apps is a plus.

Schedule
