Quality Technician(Thursday-Sunday)

About the role

The Senior Quality Technician will perform various inspection duties, create and collect inspection data, work closely with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with AS9100, AS9102, and ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment
• Create and collect inspection data
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues
• Maintain document control in accordance with AS9100, AS9102, and ITAR requirements
• Create and run part measurement programs using applicable tooling software
• Collaborate with Quality & Manufacturing Eng to resolve any issues found during product realization
• Create inspection documentation and collect and verify all data for customer data packet or CoC packet
• Identify and record non-conformances using various software
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Use CAD models for programming inspection

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in a quality position
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing and inspection environment; aerospace, medical devices, or automotive
• Experience writing programs and running CMM
• Experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and work instructions
• Proficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) read, write and interpret
• Drawing interpretation background
• Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Formal written and verbal communication with internal and external parties (customers and suppliers) as well as performing inter-company and external presentations
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Skills

• Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing and inspection environment
• Experience working with Calypso and PC DMIS software
• Experience working in Additive Manufacturing Machine operations experience
