Shift Timings Quality Technician Job Overview: Work Schedule: 10am - 6:30pmTraining Schedule: 8am – 4:30pm Duties Job Description: Mechanical inspection of precision machined components.CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometre and other advanced metrology equipment.Calibrations of metrology equipment.CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.Other duties as assigned. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsInterpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential. Preferred Skills Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understandingISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications Experience With Any/all The Following Is Highly Desired Advanced MetrologyProgrammable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)Keyence Image Measurement systemInterferometers used for surface finish and form analysisLaser micrometer Education University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
