About the role
The FQC Technician maintains high quality standards by reviewing final assembly products before delivering to our customer. The FQC Technician works as an in-line quality inspector to ensure top tier products by verifying all quality aspects of the module.
Responsibilities
- Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting visual tests
- Rejecting products that fail to meet establish quality standards
- Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands
- Documents inspection results for final product grading
- Report any issues requiring a Quality Technician to the line supervisor
- Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects
- Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment
- Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas
- Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
- Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
- Must be detail oriented and able to analyze information on computer monitor for 12 hours
