The Modular Team
Modular solutions by CEI anticipate and solve ongoing problems for data center operators. Our factory-built and tested data center infrastructure products bring deployments online faster, more reliably, and with less risk than conventional methods.
About the Role
Working in line with Cupertino's core values, you will:
- Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections in collaboration with manufacturing.
- Monitor supply base and in-house processes for product conformance.
- Issue, track, and verify corrective actions requested from internal or customer sources and issued to our supply base.
- Develop an Equipment Log using forms, one-lines, drawings, BOMs, etc., and identify OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) equipment for proper documentation.
- Track receipt of OFCI equipment, maintain a tracking document, and coordinate with Materials, Quality, Production, and Project Management groups upon receipt.
- Act as a liaison to the project management group to keep clients informed about equipment status, prepare receiving reports, and coordinate with the NETA testing group to prioritize testing sequences.
- Complete clients' prescribed notification systems such as Procore, ACC, BIM, etc.
- Track equipment through the assembly process to ensure proper usage and functionality (e.g., stub-ups, openings).
- Be a team player and professionally vocal as issues arise.
Requirements
- Quality experience required.
- Proficient in reading drawings, blueprints, and one-lines to identify equipment.
- Electrical knowledge or experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing or construction.
- Minimum 3 years in a quality role.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Work Environment
- Mostly in an assembly plant; occasional travel to vendors which may be loud and/or dirty.
- May require sitting/standing at a desk/computer or walking the production floor for extended periods.
- May require working on job sites in all weather conditions.
- Required PPE: Hard Hat, Gloves, Safety Glasses, and appropriate footwear (supplier or job site—Safety toe).
Physical Demands
- Sitting, standing, or working for extended periods.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs is not uncommon.
Pay
$31.00/hour to $41.00/hour
