Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is seeking a Quality Technician III at our Camarillo, CA facility.
Schedule
1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
Pay
Hourly rate: $26.00 – $39.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and validate CMM equipment for Receiving Inspection and Machine Shop areas
- Identify and recommend appropriate gaging technology for specific features and tolerances
- Write and execute CMM programs
- Design and order fixturing for part layouts, capability studies, and first/last piece inspections for current and new products
- Attend training sessions for software updates and improvements
- Assist Quality Engineers, Supervisor, and Quality Manager in continuous improvement of CMM support services
- Support Measurement System Analysis activities such as Gage R&Rs
- Write and edit CMM-related procedures
- Recognize and recommend potential savings and process improvements
- Support company quality manual and AS9100 requirements to maintain compliance
- Maintain clean equipment and work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience
- Knowledge of, and experience with, GD&T and hand tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc.)
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Camarillo, CA (no relocation offered)
- Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. export regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-precision machining environment
- 10+ years of CMM programming experience
- Experience with Optical Comparator, Rondcom, or Trace equipment
- Familiarity with AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
- Degree or certification in Quality Control, Engineering Technology, or related field
