About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure or establish controls for products and processes related to various technical functions meeting customer and regulatory requirements. You will maintain and improve Integer quality systems while carrying out responsibilities with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities
- Compiles or completes quality records, reports, and/or documentation ensuring Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are applied.
- Participates in problem solving and provides input for process/product evaluations for continuous improvement.
- Utilizes equipment and ensures current calibration; may repair, modify, and/or maintain equipment.
- Performs inspections in accordance with authorized specification and applicable quality standards.
- May make recommendations to existing work instructions to improve quality, clarity, and/or efficiency.
- Sets up and runs testing according to procedures or Engineering direction; may perform failure analysis and/or troubleshooting.
- Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, and classroom instruction; may train personnel in proper techniques.
- Provides support, guidance, data, and analysis to other departments.
- Drives improvements in product and process quality; identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
- Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs, Safety and Quality requirements, and applicable regulations described in the quality management system (QMS).
- Acts as a standard bearer for Quality, ensuring adherence to the QMS and contributing to corrective and preventive actions.
- Contributes to the successful attainment of quality KPIs and the journey to 5 Sigma.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education (preferred): High school graduate or equivalent; associate degree or experience in a technical field may be preferred.
- Minimum Experience (preferred): 2 years of Integer work experience, or 3 years of related manufacturing industry experience; an associate degree may substitute for years of experience.
- Specialized Knowledge: Understanding of GD&T; familiarity with ISO9001/ISO13485 quality standards preferred; product knowledge helpful.
- Special Skills:
- Computer operation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Experience with measurement tools/equipment and hand gages (e.g., pin gage, caliper, optical comparator).
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Specialization in Quality:
- Identifies and evaluates procedures to ensure quality product production.
- Works with measurement tools to ensure product meets standards before release.
- Conducts studies to understand process and/or measurement system capability.
- Performs dimensional testing for product before and after cleaning.
- Provides technical support to the Quality group as required.
- Makes decisions on product issues and acceptability.
- May write technical reports, records of standards, rejections, and other quality documentation.
Pay
Pay Range: $22.61 - $33.16 per hour.
