Quality Technician I

Summary Description

With general supervision, the Quality Technician I monitors product quality by providing feedback, recording inspection results, and quarantining suspect or defective product. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Level I Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure Minimum Workmanship Requirements
• Understand and use TEQ terminology
• Identify product visual defects
• Ensure proper packing standards
• Ensure proper inspection standards
• Perform in-process inspections according to control plans
• Properly use scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and Magna-Mikes Machines, Tools, and Equipment

Experience and Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• One year of previous production line experience is preferred
