The Quality Technician I assists with quality-related activities in our Cultivation and Manufacturing areas and reports directly to the Site Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure cGood Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and cGood Agricultural Practices (cGAP) standards, quality policies, and procedures are adhered to according to state regulations.
- Collaborate with external and internal audit processes.
- Participate in root-cause analysis for quality outages.
- Approve standard work for cells prior to production, including ATP swabbing.
- Execute 100% of daily tasks, projects, and objectives.
- Conduct inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism and service.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies, including state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure notices.
- Contribute to Lean process improvements for Manufacturing quality programs.
- Implement and monitor sanitation practices.
- Oversee disposal of non-conforming material (green waste).
- Adhere to food and allergen safety policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1+ year of quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Lean experience.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment that follows GMP standards.
- Strong critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot issues, collaborate on solutions, and implement improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and data-interpretation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer and office proficiency.
- ServSafe certification (if required by state regulations).
- Responsible Vendor Training (if required by state regulations).
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must comply with state requirements, including fingerprinting and FBI background check (Maryland and Missouri).
Pay
$21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Schedule
Part-time, evening shift: Monday – Friday, 5:15 PM – 10:15 PM
