Position Objective
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting parts used for Mikron customer projects, including Customer Service parts and customer components.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of fabricated parts to meet project timeline expectations
- Participate in material disposition discussions
- Provide inspection result data to assist with root cause analysis
- Perform incoming inspection on customer components, in-process inspections on manufacturing parts, and final inspection on assemblies for Clean Assembly
- Draft standard operating procedures for inspecting fabricated parts and the use of inspection equipment
- Ensure applicable inspection equipment is within calibration
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state Driver license
- Associates degree in a technical discipline
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and sketches
- Working knowledge of inspection equipment and tools
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiar with ERP software
- Ability to adapt to priority changes
- Ability to communicate in an open, clear, precise, and effective manner with customers, peers, and management
- Must have initiative to learn and demonstrate positive behavior toward teamwork
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Work Environment
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as in a typical office setting. Ability to work flexible hours. Mikron Corporation Denver is a drug free working environment.
