Key Responsibilities
- PCB Testing & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
- Probe signals, trace circuits, and identify component-level failures
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation to isolate issues
- Failure Analysis (RMA & Production Support)
- Support analysis of returned products (RMA) and in-process failures
- Aid in identifying failure modes and contributing to root cause investigations
- Document findings and communicate results to engineering and quality teams
- Repair, Rework & Validation
- Perform PCB rework including component replacement and soldering (SMT and through-hole)
- Conduct functional testing to verify repairs and corrective actions
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, and safety requirements
- Lab & Engineering Support
- Assist engineers with product testing, validation, and quality checks
- Maintain organized lab workspace and ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Record test data, maintain logs, and update technical documentation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams
- Provide feedback on recurring issues and observed failure trends
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support
- Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits
- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Hands-on soldering and PCB rework experience (SMT and/or through-hole preferred)
- Exposure to manufacturing, test, or failure analysis environments
