Quality Technician - Days

About the role

Operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production quality through visual checks and physical tests.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Participate in comprehensive training program.
• Contribute to sustainable packaging solutions.

Requirements

• Work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Show basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Communicate effectively and adapt to a technical environment.
• Possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Essential: 2-5 years of extrusion experience, basic computer knowledge, willingness to learn, and ability to pass a drug screening.
• Preferred: Previous manufacturing experience.

• Understands visual defects of products.
• Can perform visual checks of products.
• Understands physical tests and equipment.
• Uses all lab equipment and performs physical tests.
• Follows equipment procedures.
• Has a basic understanding of products and customer requirements.
• Verifies and applies customer requirements and specifications.
• Completes paperwork and files appropriately.
• Understands retain samples and filing requirements.
• Performs tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
• Complies with all applicable standards (BRC, ISO) and standard operating procedures.
• Communicates non-comp and scrap materials.
• Conducts EASE audits as assigned.

Schedule

• Work only 15 days per month with a unique 2-2-3 schedule.
• Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• 12-hour static shifts (Days - 5 :00am – 5 :00pm).
