Quality Technician-Commissary

Job Duties

• Perform audits of Good Manufacturing Practices for plant personnel and follow up on the opportunity areas found
• Verify and ensure compliance with the internal specifications of the products
• Release of finished product
• Monitor and evaluate visually the efficiency of cleaning procedures for equipment, utensils and work areas
• Prepare Quality reports when required, of the different activities carried out
• Detection of opportunities for improvement in the process areas
• Verify and validate the procedures in the lines
• Monitoring of production lines
• Inform and verify the timely correction of the deviations detected in the production process
• Verify the proper handling of allergens in the different stages of the production process
• Archive the generated Quality documentation
• Perform required finished product testing and the effective completion of documentation and data entry
• C Conduct Food Safety Inspections
• C Conduct GMP and SSOP inspections daily

Qualifications

• A High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Two to three years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Teamwork Communication Skills – verbal and written
