About the role
The Quality Technician ensures products meet required quality standards set by clients or TIG. Responsibilities include identifying areas for quality control improvement, implementing processes, and educating employees on new or revised procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and audits across all stages of Production, Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping.
- Conduct product and process audits and inspections.
- Manage the defect log, including notifying assignees, categorizing defects, and updating the analysis section weekly.
- Update quality slides on client production planning presentations with data from the defect log.
- Manage facility non-conforming area to ensure parts are properly “red tagged”, dispositioned in the warehouse system, and logged in the defect log.
- Develop and document quality standards, including production work instructions.
- Actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects.
- Communicate quality and compliance concerns with urgency.
- Answer employee questions and provide education as needed, including performing safety briefs.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement processes accordingly.
- Adhere to established safety protocols.
- Operate a forklift and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Perform other jobs as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service, warehouse associate, or quality assurance experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform inspections and audits across all stages of Production, Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping.
- Proficiency in various computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to perform precise measurements, solid math skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other basic warehouse equipment.

Schedule
2nd Shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am.
Pay
$19.00 per hour.
