Quality Technician

About the Role

The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining manufacturing processes and materials to ensure that Formlabs Ohio products are in conformance with quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production and manufacturing to assure that the expected quality requirements are being met.
• Performs in-process inspections of regulated and non-regulated manufacturing processes.
• Performs inspection on incoming materials and components.
• Prepares, distributes, and approves labels for use in regulated product manufacturing.
• Review quality records and processes to ensure quality requirements are being met.
• Supports the development of new Department Operating Procedures and quality forms and records.
• Performs and supports qualification, maintenance, and calibration of equipment as needed.
• Uses quality tools, instrumentation, and standards to verify product specifications.
• Performs and supports quality-related failure investigations.
• Generates non-conforming reports and CAPA reports.
• Uses quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• All other duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience working in manufacturing quality operations.
• Experience in quality control systems, failure investigation, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment a plus (food and beverage, medical, automotive).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
