Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain Quality Standards: Conduct frequent audits and inspections of product and processes to ensure quality standards, regulatory and customer requirement compliance.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
• Drawings and Specification Review: Read and interpret blueprints/drawings and specifications to ensure that production process aligns with quality standards.
• Recommendations for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes to assist in root cause and trend analysis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO‑certified company.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Strong background in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Preference for Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Quality Auditing experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing organization.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
• Ability to pass a nationwide background check.
