Responsibilities
- Perform first-off inspections in all areas
- Perform inspections for all components shipping to customers
- Perform production audits as needed
- Perform daily dock audits
- Immediately alert any product issues to management
- Take part measurements using various hand tools
- Perform Smoke Time testing
- Assist with ISO and IATF compliance
- Perform needed Quality Management Program audits
- Assist with PPAPs
- Assist with creation/update of work instructions
- Verify correct tools/bits/routers/etc. being used for parts
- Create/track calibrations for all tools
- Monitor inventory levels
- Ensure shipping labels match inventory on skid
- Perform periodic inventory audits/inspections
- Provide back-up support for various production roles, when needed
- Maintain forklift certification
- Support plant safety initiative & maintain safety protocols within all areas of production
- Report any and all issues to a member of management
- Abide by all company policies including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the RMCAT Employee Handbook
