About the role
In the role of Quality Technician working in Golden, CO, you will play an important part of Quality lab team operations and are responsible for safely collecting samples from brewing and packaging operations and accurately processing all samples as needed for timely analysis, data reporting, and critical decision making.
Responsibilities
- Consistent use of aseptic technique and adherence to Good Lab Practices
- Timely and accurate data search and entry using multiple databases and computer systems
- Appropriate use of two-way radios, personal CO₂ monitors, laminar flow hoods, vacuum systems, autoclaves, aerobic incubators, anaerobic incubators, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, lab glassware, carts, tricycles, grab sample bottles, dishwashers, coolers, and freezers
- Provide around-the-clock support of brewery operations by working 12-hour shifts on a 4 X 4 rotating schedule:
- 6 am to 6 pm (4 days on followed by 4 consecutive days off) for 2 weeks
- 6 pm to 6 am (4 nights on followed by 4 consecutive nights off) for 2 weeks
- Adhere to all Safety, Department, Brewery, and Company policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Act as a team player who takes accountability for individual tasks, has a positive attitude, a customer service mindset, good time management skills, and a strong work ethic that aligns to Molson Coors values
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willing to work rotating shifts (days/nights)
- Basic understanding of aseptic technique and microbiology
- Practical knowledge of laboratory equipment and laboratory safety
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Food and/or beverage manufacturing and/or Quality lab experience beneficial
- Physical ability to walk and stand for extended time, lift and carry a case of beer samples, use stairs and elevators frequently, and work in brewery environment (can include conditions from wet/cold to dusty/hot)
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
- Flexibility with schedule as needed to support rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, vacation coverage, and production requirements

Pay
Hourly Rate: $31.35
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts on a 4 X 4 rotating schedule:
