Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Daily collection and evaluation of quality data
• Assessment and processing of manufacturing inspection results
• Development and training of team members on measurement methods
• Ensuring equipment is calibrated and materials are conforming
• Inspection and monitoring of products at all stages of production
• Performing manual and automated quality checks
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Achieving KPI objectives by developing appropriate data collection processes
• Developing and implementing quality control plans (QCP)
• Improving processes and systems to enhance quality and consistency
• Supporting the training of the operations team on process quality inspections
• Preparing quality documentation (NC) and reports
• Supporting root cause and corrective actions and validations
• Maintaining or supporting calibration requirements
• Completing dimensional inspections of incoming and in-process products
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of inspection methods
• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a quality-related position
• Ability to work as a team
• Physical requirements: stand for long periods, traverse the production floor, climb stairs, team lift up to 50lbs, tolerate a production environment

Benefits

• Competitive salary: $23.50 - $26.00/hr
• Night shift premium: $1 per hour
• 401K
• 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am)
