Quality Technician

W2 contract position in Plano, TX (onsite). Pay range: $25–30/hr. Korean bilingual is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claim forms, bills of lading, and inspection reports to determine if damage occurred while in the care of the carrier.
• Analyze photos and verify the validity of concealed-damage claims.
• Perform key program and project management, from planning to project-deliverable development.
• Collaborate with key department leaders to develop short- to mid-term strategic plans.
• Communicate program and project progress, escalation points, and decision points to leadership.
• Develop content for executive-level presentations and reports to secure buy-in for recommendations.
• Develop content for and coordinate executive workshops and working sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required (equivalent experience accepted).
• 0–2 years of experience from a strategy/management consulting firm or within a strategic planning or corporate-development function in a global organization.
• 2+ years of claims handling or industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience communicating with mid-level to top-level leaders (status reports, presentations, in-person meetings).
• Working knowledge of project-management fundamentals, documentation practices, and systems.
• Experience working in a global organization is a plus.
• Ability to evaluate complex, sometimes contradictory evidence to determine the true cause of loss.
• Meticulous review of documents to identify discrepancies in concealed-damage cases.
• Understanding of product-damage evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal skills for communicating with claimants and negotiating settlements.
• Client-service driven with excellent relationship-management skills.
• Ability to effectively engage with and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups and stakeholders.
