Description Position Type: Full Time Hourly Shift: 1st Shift Work Model: On Site Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products and materials meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standardsIdentify, document, and report non-conformities or defectsPerform dimensional inspections using CMM, micrometers, height gages, optical comparator, profilometer, and a variety of other measurement equipment as neededCapable of operating a Zeiss CMM with CalypsoComplete and maintain accurate inspection records and reportsReview process documentation and material certifications to verify compliance with all applicable requirementsPrepare final inspection reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, and PPAP’s Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipmentExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or ERP systems and quality management softwareAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionOther duties as assigned Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferredExperience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control preferred Abilities Capable of using advanced measuring instruments and quality software (e.g., CMM, SPC tools)Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality management systemsAbility to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with ERP and QMS systems is a plusAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as neededManual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination for precise measurements The compensation range posted represents the full salary range for the role. Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and the position level ultimately offered.
