Schedule

Work only 15 days per month with a 2‑2‑3 rotation:

• Monday & Tuesday – Work
• Wednesday & Thursday – Off
• Friday, Saturday, & Sunday – Work
• Monday & Tuesday – Off
• Wednesday & Thursday – Work
• Friday, Saturday, & Sunday – Off

12‑hour static night shifts (6:00 pm – 6:00 am).

Responsibilities

• Operate state‑of‑the‑art printing presses for film, paper, and specialty materials.
• Monitor production quality and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Evaluate physical and visual properties of manufactured film to meet customer requirements.
• Review product specifications, item information, and defect logs.
• Perform a variety of plastic‑film tests (emboss, width, tear & tensile, gloss, fiberglass bleed, adhesive, treat, scratch, blotch, etc.).
• Enter quality testing results into the production monitoring system.
• Calibrate and clean equipment.
• Communicate inspection status to supervisors or extrusion technicians.
• Maintain the sample retain system, including labeling, storing, transporting, and discarding retains.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, following standard procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 lb.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of experience in a quality‑related field.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with a quality management system environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
