The Location – Springboro, OH

American Battery Solutions Advanced Battery Manufacturing Center is located in Springboro, Ohio. Springboro is rated #3 among the top 10 communities in greater Southwest Ohio, known for its quality of life, excellent schools, safety, and amenities. The city offers a variety of public programming, including outdoor concerts, festivals, and fireworks, as well as bike and walking trails, an 18-hole public golf course, a charming historic district, and 501 acres of parks.

Responsibilities

  • Support incoming inspection, autopsy activities, and production control operations.
  • Support production line First Time Quality yield by accurately reporting quality issues to management to drive action with key functional internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Inspect, evaluate, and provide disposition of components used in the production of electromechanical products.
  • Support quality requirements for components to ensure correct parts are received and verified for product quality.
  • Obtain detailed print specifications from internal customers.
  • Support the development of inspection methods and ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Review product inspection history to make future inspection decisions.
  • Communicate with quality engineers regarding quality requirements.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) & Nonconformance Report (NCR) meetings to support resolution of supplier quality issues.
  • Send Quality reports to Purchasing and internal customers as required.
  • Work with purchasing to replace defective components.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Ensure predictable and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three (3) years of quality experience required.
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gages, and a variety of other dimensional tools is required.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and processes.
  • Proficient with Excel; agile data analysis tools are required.
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations is preferred.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, colors on prints, and/or operate field instruments/equipment.
  • Must work rotating shift schedule; may need to work overtime.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
  • Able to continuously stand, bend, squat, and reach.
  • Able to complete physically demanding work.
