Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
  • Accurately complete and maintain inspection and test documentation, including quality reports, checklists, and nonconformance records.
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify dimensional and functional accuracy of parts.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for nonconforming materials or processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures and inspection standards.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct audits of vendor items to ensure vendor quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues when found and perform hands-on repairs of any defects.
  • Train in other stations to perform those job functions.
  • Assist in other work stations when not inspecting units.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality or inspection role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Some electrical experience.
  • Some manufacturing experience.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Frequent standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, and fine manipulation with hands.
  • Frequent use of hands and inspection tools in a manufacturing environment.
