Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description This role offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring quality technician to gain hands-on experience and build a career in quality. You will support quality control and quality assurance activities, perform inspections, and help ensure that products meet established standards and specifications. Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on products and components to verify compliance with specifications and standards.Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, and nonconformities.Use calipers and other basic measuring tools to take accurate measurements and document results.Support quality control processes by recording inspection data and maintaining clear, organized documentation.Assist with quality assurance activities to help ensure adherence to established procedures and ISO standards.Collaborate with team members to report quality issues and contribute to corrective actions when needed.Apply basic knowledge of piping and related components when inspecting and assessing product quality.Follow established quality procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and reliability in inspection activities. Essential Skills Experience or training in quality control and quality assurance practices.Ability to perform detailed visual inspections to identify defects and irregularities.Proficiency in using calipers and basic measurement tools accurately.Familiarity with ISO standards and their application in a quality environment.Basic understanding of piping or piping-related components.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.Ability to follow written procedures and quality guidelines consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in starting and developing a career in quality and inspection.Willingness to learn and grow within a structured quality environment.Good communication skills for documenting findings and sharing results with the team.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to support quality goals.Organizational skills to manage inspection records and maintain accurate documentation. Work Environment The role is based in a production and inspection environment where you will work with quality tools such as calipers and follow ISO-aligned procedures. You will spend much of your time performing hands-on inspections, both visual and measurement-based, and collaborating with quality and production teams to support consistent product standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kaukauna, WI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
