About the role
The Quality Technician (QT) plays a crucial role in ensuring that products consistently meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves performing inspections, analyzing quality data, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process performance.
Responsibilities
- Investigate internal and external corrective actions to identify and analyze problems; and to generate, implement, and evaluate solutions.
- Interact with Product Development Team to develop specifications and inspection plans for raw materials and finished goods for new products.
- Oversee incoming and in-process inspection and documentation control processes.
- Participate in MRB, and Change Management process (ECR, ECO, ECN, drawing review/signoff).
- Support in-house testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with Quality Certifications.
- AS degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Practical understanding of GD&T a plus.
- Strong computer skills – i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access; Statistical software.

Working Conditions
- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items - The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Requires the ability to move around and maneuver products when necessary.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 35 pounds.
