About The Role
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring all products meet company and quality standards through testing and inspections. Key responsibilities include maintaining test equipment, performing load performance tests, conducting incoming inspections, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains test equipment and ensures it is properly calibrated.
- Performs routine and job-specific load performance tests.
- Conducts incoming inspections on products received from vendors.
- Has a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the facility.
- Performs daily in-process quality audits on the production floor.
- Qualifies new or revised products as needed.
- Maintains updated certified testing reports on standard products.
- Aids in improving product and manufacturing processes.
- Visits job sites to identify and recommend solutions to problems.
- Maintains good housekeeping and follows safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed by supervisors.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
- Knowledge of aluminum cutting and milling operations is a plus.
- Strong shop-floor orientation.
- Detail-oriented and accurate work ethic.
- Three (3) plus years manufacturing experience.
