Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician on the 2nd shift. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products in a regulated industry, with a preference for experience in the medical, aerospace, or automotive sectors.

Responsibilities

• Review product non-conformances and device history records (DHRs).
• Complete quality documentation related to part defects and inspection plans.
• Understand and assess technical drawings, dimensions, and required specifications.
• Communicate with operators on the production floor regarding non-conforming materials.
• Assist with supplier change request forms and quality documentation, including FMEA and PPAPs.

Skills

• 0-3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (medical preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality inspection, quality control, and inspection tools.
• Familiarity with quality documentation, schematics, PPAP, and FAIRs.
• Proficiency in Excel for data collection and analysis.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
