What You'll Do
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures to verify product conformance.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital multimeters.
- Create, process, and maintain Quality Notifications (QNs).
- Investigate product and process nonconformances and support material review activities.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers to drive timely resolution of quality issues.
- Participate in root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities and verify implementation effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve performance, and strengthen overall quality.
- Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics, inspection results, and process performance data.
- Identify trends, communicate findings, and help drive data-based quality improvements.
- Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of key quality performance indicators.
- Assist with calibration programs and maintain accurate calibration records.
- Ensure measurement equipment remains compliant and available for production use.
- Coordinate follow-up activities for out-of-tolerance equipment.
- Conduct internal quality system, ESD, and 5S audits.
- Support customer, supplier, and third-party audits.
- Maintain documentation required to ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
- Support the ongoing effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Work closely with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Support process improvements, validation activities, and quality-focused projects.
- Share best practices and contribute to a culture of quality excellence.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, Supplier Quality, or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital multimeters.
- Working knowledge of quality systems, nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), GD&T, calibration systems, and supplier quality processes.
- Experience with SAP and/or electronic quality management systems.
