Responsibilities

• Create bubbled prints and FAIR Forms
• Determine inspection methods to measure parts
• Create Vertex Programs if needed
• Perform first article inspections and annual layouts
• Construct or obtain gages and fixtures
• Perform process capability studies and gage R & R studies
• Assist in the creation of FMEA, control plans, and flow charts
• Create limit and workmanship standards
• Train employees on inspection methods
• Create work instructions for difficult measurements
• Recommend inspection guide changes
• Review current inspection methods and process capabilities
• Serve as backup for gage calibration
• Maintain SPC software and data
• Participate in strategic planning for company growth
• Engage in group and individual training
• Perform all duties safely while supporting the company’s safety culture
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Perform other duties as required or directed by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and prior CMM layout experience is a plus
