Responsibilities
- Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration.
- Inspect flat blank layouts, out of box audit (OBA), and sample and test incoming components and raw materials.
- Purge material and ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards.
- Update general documents (Quality alerts).
- Perform dosimetry measurements and daily dose lab activities (releasing, pairing, delivery of dose trays, report generation, cleaning).
- Conduct microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, and media assessments.
- Perform environmental monitoring using viable air samplers and other advanced lab equipment.
- Assist with Corrective Action investigations and address environmental excursions in controlled environments.
- Identify, escalate, and investigate alert/OOS results related to dosimetry, microbial testing, and environmental monitoring.
- Create and maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Use whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages to perform calculations and interpret test data.
- Think critically, troubleshoot problems, and interpret test data independently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience, such as microbiology.
