DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains production quality standards and documentation, including preparing and updating necessary records and monitoring production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participates in Return Materials Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes, quality audits, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control compliance, and quality reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and make logical decisions.
- Supports corrective action responses, as required.
- Occasional contact and communication with other Creation functional areas, plus occasional outside contact and communication with vendors and certification/inspection/audit agencies.
- Ensures day-to-day tasks align with quality standards.
- Impacts Customer Satisfaction by helping to ensure product quality.
- Identifies and resolves low complexity product and process-related issues.
- Supports Quality Engineer for manufacturing and operations related activities.
- Performs various types of quality inspections and audits.
- Creates quality reports and analyzes manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Attends MRB meetings to ensure timely disposition of nonconforming material.
- Supports RMA process to ensure timely return of products to customer.
- Supports calibration of inspection and test equipment with internal stakeholders and 3rd party.
- Supports ESD control compliance program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in electronics or related field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in any combination of Quality Assurance, manufacturing/process engineering (electronics manufacturing preferred).
- Working knowledge of IPC A-610 is preferred.
- Working knowledge of other applicable IPC standards (e.g. IPC-600, IPC-620) is highly desirable.
- Work experience in ISO 9001 environment is strongly desirable.
- Experience with the proper use of measuring equipment and Measurement System Analysis is an asset.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations knowledge.
- Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.
- Proficient English verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, CFR 21 Part 820 and ISO 13485.
- Experience with the proper use of measuring equipment and Measurement System Analysis is an asset.
- Possesses the ability to succinctly articulate the details of a challenge to Team members.
PAY AND BENEFITS
The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Full-time employees are also eligible for benefits and performance-based bonuses. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
