Quality Tech III

About This Role
A Quality Technician III is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with complaint devices. In this role, the CIS Quality Technician III manages daily operations involving returned complaint products and supports Engineers who conduct in-depth complaint analyses and investigations. This includes assisting with root cause analysis, returned product evaluations, and investigation closure for both BSC manufactured and OEM products. In addition to analytical support, this position is also responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping returned devices. The Quality Technician III performs disinfection and triage of returned medical devices in accordance with BSC work instructions.
This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in the local office five days per week.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect returned medical devices in preparation for complaint investigation.
- Perform initial triage on returned devices.
- Perform returned product analysis: visual inspection, dimensional, mechanical, and electrical testing.
- Maintain CIS laboratory in compliance with governing regulations and standards.
- Maintain work instructions related to the labs and returned products.
- Disposition returned product, including retention and storage of returned product according to documented procedures.
- Maintain traceability of returned device location and status.
- Maintain disinfection laboratory in compliance with governing regulations and standards.
- Maintain test equipment used in labs.
- Perform x-ray analysis for CIS and additional departments (R&D and DQA).
- Work is supervised and completed according to specific, documented instructions.
Requirements
- 2-4 years with High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships.
Pay
Minimum Salary: $50,232
Maximum Salary: $85,384
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
