Quality Team Leader 3rd Shift | Anna, OH Area

Stratosphere Quality is seeking a Quality Team Leader for third shift work in the Anna, OH area. This position supports daily inspection activity by helping team members understand job expectations, follow work instructions, and complete quality checks accurately.

About the role

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on, helping others stay organized, and keeping production support work moving during the shift. The Quality Team Leader helps coordinate inspection work during the shift, working closely with inspection team members and site leadership to support quality, safety, attendance, and productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Guide Quality Inspectors during daily inspection and sorting activities
• Review work instructions with team members before and during the shift
• Help set up work areas, materials, tools, gauges, and inspection supplies
• Perform part inspections when needed to support the team
• Monitor work quality and help correct process issues as they come up
• Keep inspection paperwork, reports, and project documentation updated
• Communicate shift updates, concerns, or changes to the appropriate leadership contact
• Reinforce safety practices, attendance expectations, and company procedures
• Assist with training new or reassigned team members
• Help keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for the next shift
• Step into additional leadership support duties when directed

Requirements

• Comfortable leading or guiding a small team
• Able to communicate clearly with employees and leadership
• Reliable, punctual, and prepared to work third shift
• Detail-oriented when reviewing parts, paperwork, and work instructions
• Able to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced work environment
• Willing to learn new inspection processes and technology platforms
• Flexible with daily work assignments and local project needs
• Comfortable working in manufacturing, warehouse, or production settings

Qualifications

Preferred background includes:

• Previous team lead experience
• Quality inspection, sorting, containment, production, or warehouse experience
• Experience training employees or helping with daily shift coordination
• Familiarity with basic inspection tools, gauges, or work instructions

Training may be provided based on project needs and candidate experience.
