About The Role
The Quality Department Team Lead plays a key role in ensuring daily operational excellence within the Quality Department of our window manufacturing facility. This role supports the Supervisor/Manager by training, coaching, and developing employees; monitoring quality processes; ensuring compliance with company standards; and maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the department. The Quality Team Lead helps direct the workflow of materials and team activities to optimize productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Westlake Safety Policies.
- Exhibit consistent attendance, punctuality, and scheduling flexibility.
- Promote and support a zero-injury safety culture.
- Provide leadership and direction to Quality team members.
- Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures related to quality and inventory handling.
- Direct and support employees as needed to meet departmental objectives.
- Oversee daily quality control and department operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer and software experience.
- Previous quality experience in warehousing or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Exposure to temperature extremes and high noise levels.
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours), perform repetitive movements, bend, twist, and use hand tools.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs.
