Quality Systems Specialist

About the role

Abbott is a global healthcare leader with a portfolio spanning diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and branded generic medicines. The Quality Systems Specialist position is located in St. Paul, MN, is fully onsite, and supports the Vascular division’s integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Support tasks related to current integration projects.
• Analyze quality standards for components, materials, or services.
• Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology, and other procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Apply quality principles, analyze quality records, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Conduct inspection, verification, and validation of components or materials used in development processes.
• Identify and address recurring problems with product quality or testing procedure reliability.
• Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
• Liaise with external vendors as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum education).
• 2+ years of related experience or training.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with integrations related to acquisitions or change management.
• Quality Systems experience within medical devices.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following programs: CatsWeb, Propel, SAP, Viewpoint.

Pay

The base pay for this position ranges from $61,300.00 to $122,700.00, with possible variation in specific locations.
